The Void Within plot will return on April 28, 2026, and will conclude on June 16th, with special bonus content appearing after the plot ends. Keep reading for a sneak preview, a behind-the-scenes look, and come back here for more details when the plot resumes next week!

What’s New?

Chapter content will be released in its entirety on Tuesdays, with the final day of each chapter being on the following Monday. This is to help make it easier to complete plot content at your own pace!

Along with Comics and Dialogue, we’ve now introduced Short Stories! In addition to delightful illustrations, each Short Story also includes a summary for players who don’t feel as though they need every detail, but would still like to follow the plot.

Alongside the return, we have implemented new features, a battle pass, and an NC event! Below is a little bit more about what you can expect next week.

New Foes in the Battledome

New challengers are emerging from the Rift, and they are unlike anything you’ve faced so far! Are your Neopets prepared? If not, remember to keep training them up so they are ready for the challenges that lie ahead. You’ll want your pets strong for the final boss…we have something special in store!

The first chapter of Episode 3 brings an unnerving new foe to the Battledome. A once familiar form, twisted into a nearly unrecognizable beast by the miasma of the Void… one with far more control over the void essence surrounding it than any shade we’ve seen before. Are you prepared to defend Neopia from this looming threat?

Neopets Adventure Pass

With the return of the plot comes the Adventure Pass: a new battlepass-style progression system! Plot Points now contribute toward automatically unlocking structured prize tiers as The Void Within continues to unravel. 

While all players will have access to "The Beginner's Path,” an additional, expanded track known as “The Hero’s Journey” can be unlocked using an Adventure Pass, purchasable with Neocash!

NC Mall x The Void Within

It looks like a mysterious void rift has opened up, and some strange bubbles seem to be floating around. Fortunately, Vandebart Biggsby is on the case and has been running a little game allowing Neopians to pop Void Bubbles in exchange for new wearables, using his newly developed Void Cork Poppers. 

His stall opens on April 28th, so if you fancy winning a few new cherry-blossom themed accessories, this might be for you!
