Neopets Takes Over SDCC 2024!
Calling all Neopians who couldn't make it to SDCC this year! Don't fret, we've got you covered. Buckle up, because we're about to take you on a whirlwind tour of everything that went down at the Neopets booth. Let's just say, our team and our amazing fans absolutely killed it!
Bigger and Bolder Than Ever
This year, we weren't just another booth at the convention. We were practically neighbours with industry giants like Toei and Tamagotchi! Talk about being in good company. We even had a massive Neopets sign hanging from the ceiling, just in case any of our dear fans got lost in the maze of booths. Now that's how you make a splash!
The Star of the Show
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the absolute cuteness overload that was our Neopets mascot? Yes, the giant, fluffy pink Aisha was everything we dreamed of and more! From the moment she gracefully floated (okay, maybe waddled) into the room, everyone's eyes were glued to her. People were snapping pictures left and right, and honestly, who could blame them? She was simply adorable!
We Made Lots of New Friends
Our staff was completely blown away by the incredible cosplays that dotted the convention floor. From classic Aisha ears to elaborate faerie wings, you guys are seriously the most creative bunch ever! But our personal favourite has to be the couple who took their Neopian pride to a whole new level: an alien Aisha paired with a vending machine costume – pure genius!
Neopets x Upper Deck: A Match Made in Battledome
Did someone say Neopets Trading Card Game?! That's right! We hosted a panel discussion with Upper Deck to talk about details of our newest TCG. We even faced off against some of our dedicated fans in epic matches. It was pure chaos and fun in the best way possible. We can't wait for even bigger tournaments to take place and for the Neopets Battledome TCG to take the world by storm!
Exclusive Treats and Literary Delights
Speaking of exclusives, let's talk about the Limited Edition Phat Mojo Aisha plush! It was crazy popular – we couldn't keep them on the shelves for a single day! But hey, it wasn't just about the merch. We also wanted to share something nice with our fans, so we handed out sneak peeks of "The Omelette Faerie," our upcoming book with Andrews McMeel.
Unexpected Surprises
Well, maybe a few sore feet from all the walking around the convention floor, but hey, that's the small price you pay for an epic Neopian adventure, right? SDCC sure was a whirlwind of fun, and we couldn't have done it without YOU, our amazing community.
