It all started with our 25th anniversary…

What started as official 25th anniversary celebrations quickly turned into something more: longtime players reconnecting offline, guildmates becoming actual friends, and “Neofriends” finally meeting IRL after years (sometimes decades!!) of knowing each other online. The 25th anniversary parties connected Neofriends worldwide, and these became recurring Community Meetups!

If you are interested in making memories with Neofriends, keep an eye on this page at the beginning of every month to find a Community Meetup near you!

Player Testimonials

“The Neopets community is the nicest out of any game I've ever been a part of. I have been a part of gaming communities where it's normal to bring each other down, and is very toxic. When I began playing Neopets again, it was the complete opposite. Players are kind and respectful. They are so creative & passionate for this game. I was filled with joy when I had the opportunity to host the Ann Arbor Birthday Bash. Seeing everyone come together to hang out was incredible! I love hosting these events with our local community. It's one of the ways I've found I can help contribute back to them.I look forward to many more!” - Bobby4Real

“We had 3 weeks to get the Melbourne birthday bash planning done. They were some of the most hectic weeks of our lives. Finding a venue, selling tickets, assembling decorations, coming up with party favours and activities and praying that people had a good time. And they did! From this event, many Neofriendships were formed. So a year later, when the Game Worlds exhibition was brought to ACMI, and the call for help for the Neopets Player Night went out, so many hands went up. Those friendships formed the year prior carried on like no time had passed. That's how we feel about Neopets, deep down we're all still kids having fun with our friends” - draik_bianca

“When the Neopets community event makes it out of the guild chat, wonderful things happen! It's been an honor to host an anniversary bash, casual meetups and collab launch events. Getting to meet old Neofriends IRL, argue about the pronunciation of 'Acara' and reminisce about our terribly named first pets makes every meetup an adventure!” - earthlingdreamz
