Decorate Your Neopets Pet Bookshelf
Introducing the Pet Bookshelf: An archival, interactive, customisable log of every book your Neopet has ever read! If you’ve read books to your pet, you can now visit their “Books Read” page and display their favourite books on a brand new customisable bookshelf!
As part of this release, the QuickRef page has also been updated, and is accessible via the “My Pets” section on the side panel.
Keep reading for more information on how this new feature works and new rewards and milestones for your brainiac Neopets.

Milestone Prizes: Trophies, Avatars, and More!
To encourage our blooming Neopian readers, a new Pet Trophy for Neopets who have read a certain number of books has been released alongside various other prizes for completing reading Milestones.
If your pet has already read several books, visit their books read history to see if they might qualify. If you haven't unlocked any prizes or pet trophies, try visiting the Magical Bookshop to pick up a book to read to them and get started!
Archived Bookshelf vs. Pet Bookshelf
Earlier this year, we also debuted the Archived Book Collection! The Archived Book Collection is a separate bookshelf that belongs to each individual Neopets player and is accessible via their user lookup. The Archived Book Collection is a space for you to display Rare Books you discover across the site. Rare Books are special books that can be read OR collected (like stamps!) and put on your shelf to unlock milestone prizes.
The shelf displays, however, for the Archived Book Collection are identical to the new Pet Bookshelf, so any decor you might have previously owned can be moved and used to decorate your Pet Bookshelf!

How to Customise Your Pet Bookshelf
Every book your pet has ever read is logged in bookshelf history, and you can now place their favourites right onto their bookshelf!
If you want to give their bookshelf a little bit of personality or something other than books to show off, utilize bookshelf decor like wallpapers and paint to change the colour and layout of your bookshelf, and then place trinkets, plushies, or plants on there too!
New Shop in the Neopian Plaza
Have Neopoints to spare and looking to spruce up your bookshelves? The brand new Shelf Indulgence store in the Neopian Plaza is open and stocked with fun decor! The shopkeeper is starting out with a minimal catalogue and working on creating more fun decor for Neopians to stop by and purchase, so keep an eye out as more decor gets added! The best decor, though, is always more books, so be sure to read some to your pet and put their favourites right on the shelf.
Even More Decor!
Wallpaper, shelf colours, plushies, plants, other fun trinkets, and even more decor for your bookshelf are available in the NC Mall and available in conveniently themed bundles so you can get a whole Bookshelf Decor Kit in your favourite colours and styles.
