Regarding the Neopets Tabletop Roleplaying Game

To our Neopets community,

We want to share an update regarding our partnership with Geekify Inc. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to terminate our license agreement with Geekify, effective immediately. 

Over the years, Geekify has helped bring a variety of licensed Neopets products to life for our community. We appreciate the creativity and effort that went into developing these releases and we are grateful to the fans who supported them.

As part of our commitment to providing quality Neopets experiences, we regularly review our licensing partnerships to ensure they align with our long-term goals and with the standards we set for official Neopets licensed merchandise and experiential projects. We determined that it is in the best interest of the Neopets brand and our community to cease this specific project and ongoing license agreement. We wish the best for Geekify Inc as we both continue to grow and evolve separately.

We also recognize how important quality, reliability, and overall customer experience are when it comes to officially licensed Neopets products. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve in these areas, we are implementing more robust processes to carefully assess licensees and evaluate merchandise projects. These steps are intended to help ensure that future collaborations deliver the highest possible quality, experiences, and products for our community.

We understand that members of the community may have questions and concerns regarding existing or pending pledges for the Geekify Neopets TTRPG that launched on Kickstarter. General inquiries, backers with outstanding pledges and customer support needs should continue to go to Geekify Inc through their customer service channels. 

We know you've waited a long time for your exclusive in-game reward, we are also stepping in to ensure every backer receives their exclusive in-game avatar. We will finalize the distribution method and will provide an update as soon as it’s ready.

Regarding the TTRPG category as a whole, we recognise the immense support this project received and the demand for a quality roleplaying experience within the Neopets universe. We are continuing to explore alternative options to bring a high quality TTRPG gaming experience to the fan base and are looking into solutions to help us accomplish this in the future. 

We are fans of Neopets, and we are dedicated to protecting and expanding the world we all love.
