Apply to the 2026-2027 Community Ambassador Program
Our Community Ambassador Program, implemented in 2023, has been critical to The Neopets Team in providing valuable insights into how this initiative can positively impact Neopia and amplify player voices. Our past cohorts of Ambassadors have been essential in advocating for community needs, offering thoughtful feedback, and shaping the program's future.
Over the past cohorts, our Ambassadors have driven meaningful change across Neopia, addressing high-impact bugs, consolidating feedback for quality-of-life improvements, and championing key community concerns. Their collaboration with The Neopets Team has ensured that player voices are integral to our ongoing development efforts.
Their input has been invaluable, and we are committed to applying these lessons as we continue to grow and improve the program.
How to Apply
As the second cohort comes to a close, we are excited to invite new dedicated Neopians into the program to carry the torch in advocating for our community members. Are you interested in becoming a Community Ambassador for Neopets? Now is your time to apply!
Applications will open on June 1st, 2026, & will remain open through June 14th, 2026. The Neopets Team aims to notify and onboard the next group of Community Ambassadors by early July 2026.
What Is An Ambassador & What Can They Do?
Community Ambassadors are passionate & knowledgeable Neopets players who volunteer their time to help strengthen communication between the Neopets Team and the broader community.
They serve as a bridge—gathering community concerns, reporting major site issues, and relaying constructive feedback directly to TNT through dedicated channels.
While Ambassadors collaborate closely with the team, they are not staff members and are not involved in development decisions or internal planning. They do not have access to all behind-the-scenes information, but work alongside us to help enhance the overall player experience.
Players can connect with Ambassadors via Neomail, the Neoboards, or Community Groups to share feedback, highlight issues, or raise concerns respectfully and constructively.
Can anyone apply to be a Community Ambassador?
Yes, applications are open to all players. However, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a deep understanding of the game, are actively engaged in the community, maintain a positive standing, and show a genuine commitment to both community well-being and the long-term success of Neopets.
Ambassadors should be passionate about fostering constructive dialogue, representing community perspectives with care, and contributing to a welcoming, respectful environment for all players.
When will the current ambassador cohort end?
There will be a period of transition between our first and second cohorts of Community Ambassadors. We will further announce the last day for our first group of CA’s. We want to ensure that new Ambassadors can settle in and have support. Can current ambassadors reapply?
Yes, current Ambassadors are welcome to reapply to the program. Along with returning veteran Ambassadors who are selected, we want to ensure that new faces have the opportunity to represent Neopia.
How do you choose Ambassadors?
Selecting Community Ambassadors is a thoughtful and deliberate process. Each application is carefully reviewed by multiple members of The Neopets Team, with consideration given to the applicant’s ideas, community involvement, knowledge of the game, and ability to represent the playerbase constructively.
In our previous cycles, we received over 700 applications, and due to program capacity, we were only able to select a limited number of participants. If you are not selected this time but believe you would be a strong fit for the program, we encourage you to reapply again in the future.
Will we see new Ambassador Roles?
We regularly internally review the program and want to ensure that the ambassador roles and categories adapt to ensure that all areas of the site and the Neopets brand are adequately represented. While the roles will be finalized when the new cohort is announced, we will be sure to pay attention to feedback on areas that could use further representation.
Are Ambassadors compensated, or fully volunteer?
The Community Ambassador role is a volunteer role. Ambassadors are not members of the Neopets Team, but rather trusted, knowledgeable, and dedicated members of the Neopets Community. Ambassadors are under an NDA to ensure they can be further involved in the feedback process with us.
While Ambassadors volunteer their time, they do get access to a few perks for the large commitment they make on an ongoing basis. Ambassadors receive a monthly allowance of 2000 NC and may also be sent merchandise packages. Ambassadors will also have guaranteed entry to events, pop-ups, and afterparties hosted by Neopets.
