Each month, your most popular questions from across Neopia get answered! Here’s what’s new and what’s in the works:
- What’s the timeline on getting a block feature for the boards?
We’re going to incorporate this into Q4 Planning. - Please finish the unfinished stamp albums, it’s been forever!
One of our initiatives is to complete a couple of stamp albums by the end of the year. And in case you missed it, the Qasala album can now be completed as of September 25, 2025! Keep an eye out because more stamps will continue to be released! - Will there be more monarch butterfly items for other pets and more for Eyrie?
We can certainly keep this in mind, no promises yet though! - Will it be possible to use VPNs for users on the website?
VPNs are allowed on Neopets, but we’ve seen some players use them to exploit or manipulate the system. If you’re using a VPN for genuine privacy or security reasons, that’s completely fine but using one to support cheating or hacking isn’t permitted. - Y’all have been so busy, what do YOU do to relax?!
It’s different for each member of the team, but rumors say that there has been some staff drinking Borovan in the office. Others have mentioned taking screen breaks, going for walks outside, taking vacation time, and the occasional couch-potato-ing and brain-rotting!

Your Neopets Account Recovery and Safety
We know that account safety and recovery have been hot topics in the Neopian community. Many players have shared concerns about regaining access to accounts, the risk of hijackers, and delays in support. We want to assure everyone that we’re aware of these issues and are making ongoing improvements to help keep your accounts secure.
Recently, there has been a rise in targeted hijacking attempts, especially against accounts with rare items or well-known pets. Because of this, we’ve made our recovery process stricter to make sure accounts are only returned to their rightful owners. Our team is committed to treating every player fairly and protecting the community as a whole. We ask for detailed and reliable proof of ownership, especially if the account is considered sensitive or valuable.
We’re also working hard to improve support ticket times, but please understand that high volumes and extra checks for account safety can lead to delays. Thank you for your patience as we prioritise genuine players and continue to upgrade our processes.
A full, in-depth update about these changes and what you can expect for the future will be released soon. In the meantime, we appreciate everyone’s understanding and will keep you informed as we roll out further improvements.

The Faerie Festival Has Returned!
The Faerie Festival returned to Neopia beginning September 30, bringing a wave of enchantment, a refreshed format, and new ways to celebrate all things faerie! This year’s event introduces a new prize shop, premium features, and the comeback of the donation activity, plus the “Free the Faeries” NC Game, where you can unlock magical NC rewards just by joining in the fun.

Faerie Fragments Social Media Customisation Contest
The Neopets: Faerie Fragments Customisation Contest is now open! Share your creativity for a chance to win exclusive prizes. Submit your entry by October 31, 2025.
How to Enter:
- Install & Play: Download Neopets: Faerie Fragments on the App Store or Google Play and play!
- Share Your Creations: Post your Faerie Fragments art, memes, cosplays, in-game screenshots, or anything you dream up, on Instagram (including Stories), X, or TikTok.
- Tag & Follow: Use #Neopets and #FaerieFragmentsContest and make sure you’re following the official Neopets account.

NEW: Double Your Quest Time!
Looking to make your questing journey a bit smoother? Two new features can help you get more done with less stress:
- Double Time Premium Perk: Available to all Neopets Premium subscribers, this perk doubles the time to complete certain site quests, starting with Illusen’s Glade and Jhudora’s Bluff.
- Double Time Fortune Cookie: This NC Mall item grants the same time-doubling benefit for select quests, lasting one week per activation, a great option for non-premium players who want extra flexibility.
Jhudora & Illusen Quest Prizes Are Getting an Update!
Jhudora’s Bluff and Illusen’s Glade quests will soon feature updated prize pools, arriving right after the Faerie Festival ends on October 13, 2025!
- New Rewards: Look forward to brand-new prizes exclusive to each faerie, including all-new Battledome items to help power up your pets for future challenges.
- Timing: The updated prize pools will go live as the Faerie Festival draws to a close, so get ready to quest!

What's Your Passion - NYCC Exclusive Merch
Exciting news for Neopets fans: What's Your Passion is unveiling several exclusive releases at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year.
This marks the final release in the silver and gold Neopets pin collection, featuring the last six pets: Chia, Kiko, Gnorbu, Ixi, Lupe, and Varwolf. After four years, every Neopet species will have been represented in this special series. As a highlight, the Lupe pin will include a special "cuddle puddle" prize.
NYCC-exclusive items also include the NYCC25 Darigan Paintbrush pin and a matching NYCC25 Darigan Lanyard. Additionally, a range of non-exclusive pins will be available: Darigan Aisha, Xweetok, Halloween Cybunny, and Mutant Meowclops.
Two fan-favourite faeries, Jhudora and the Darkest Faerie, are receiving new pin designs. These are the first in a series of redesigned faerie pins.
The NYCC exclusive merchandise will be available online from Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 8:00 PM EST through Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. In-person sales will take place at NYCC booth #3152 from Thursday, October 9, 2025 to Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Special recognition goes to Lisa for designing the Darigan lanyard. Additional holiday-themed merchandise is already in development.
