Neopets at San Diego Comic Con 2023

Hey Neopians! We had the most amazing time at this year's San Diego Comic-Con! TNT spent five spectacular days working our booth at this major hub for all things geeky and magical. It was an absolute blast meeting everyone. Now that the dust has settled, let's take a look at some of the highlights at SDCC 2023!

A Booth-Load of Fun

Our booth was packed with exciting Neopets merch, both old and new. Exclusives were flying off the tables faster than a rolling Turmac! Hot items included the Era Collection pins, limited edition Neopets SDCC 2023 t-shirts, energy-packed G FUEL tubs, and copies of The Official Neopets Cookbook signed by co-author and editor, Erinn Pascal!

Neopians from far and wide showed up in full force at SDCC! From cosplayers and collectors to families fostering a shared love of Neopets, meeting so many devoted players in person was an absolute blast! The community's passion for all things Neopian was downright contagious. We even met some of the Jellyneo team!

The Neopets Era Party

Our booth wasn't the only draw for the Neopian community at this year's SDCC. The Neopets Team held a massive off-site party to commemorate the beginning of Neopets' new era! Fans were hyped from day one, with many visiting the booth just to learn more about how to attend the Neopets Era Party. When Friday arrived, some even lined up hours in advance! 

Once inside, attendees were greeted by the red carpet treatment. Our friends at Upper Deck took a turn striking a pose with our Aisha mascot!

From Skeith Burgers to Meridellian Mac and Hubert's iconic hotdogs, the food was plentiful and made a touch of Neopian magic!

At the height of the evening, attendees were treated to an enlightening speech made by our new CEO, Dominic Law. He introduced the new unified team and shared his dream for the future of Neopets with the audience before pressing play on the New Era announcement trailer.

During the speech, Dom dropped a bombshell announcement: John Legend is joining us as the Chief Brand Ambassador for Neopets. We're over the moon about this legendary collaboration!

Wrapping Up

 Thank you, Neopians! SDCC 2023 was truly an unforgettable experience, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our player community. The huge turnout at the booth, the palpable excitement at the Era party, and all the insightful conversations we had with the Neopian community warmed our hearts like a cup of Hot Borovan.
