Neopets is ready for spooky season! Trick-or-treating and the Festival of Fears celebration are just around the corner, along with an upcoming brand-new story game, new avatars, page conversions, Pet Styles, and more. Keep reading to see everything happening on Neopets this October and beyond!
Not only will we be making some exciting quality-of-life changes to Quest Log later this month, but we also have an updated announcement regarding Battle Pass for players to read ahead of our upcoming seasonal events.

Sneak Preview: Kanrik Chronicles
Coming later this October, get ready to step into the shadows with Kanrik Chronicles, a brand-new Choose Your Own Adventure visual novel-style experience!
Join Kanrik on a daring heist to steal the mysterious new “Star” jewel from the Brightvale Museum. As the new Thieves Guild Rookie…do you have what it takes to become Kanrik’s right-hand man?
With four possible outcomes, each featuring its own unique prize and avatar, every choice can lead you down a different path. Replay and unlock all four endings to earn a one-of-a-kind completion prize!
Behind the scenes, the Neopets Team has had so much fun working on this new character-driven initiative. Envisioned by a core team dedicated to finding new ways to deliver gameplay and storylines to players, we’re incredibly excited for you to experience what we feel is the first step in testing out new gameplay and character interactions, seeing what resonates with players, and building towards bigger updates.
This passion project, although still in its very early stages, has given the team space to experiment with new gameplay ideas, richer character interactions, and more immersive storytelling. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on!

Discover Neopets at NYCC 2026 Oct. 8-11!
While Neopets won’t have an official booth at New York Comic Con this weekend, you’ll still be able to see some Pets and Petpets around the show floor through two of our officially licensed partners: WYP Jewelry and CptnAlex Designs.
Their limited-edition and event-exclusive Neo York-themed Neopets collections are available now, both online and at NYCC!

Halloween Pet Style Mystery Capsule
Last year’s Halloween Pet Styles are back in the NC Mall inside the Halloween Pet Style Mystery Capsule! By giving these seasonal favorites their own capsule, Umbra will have more room in the Styling Studio to craft brand-new nostalgic color combinations and never-before-seen poses for Neopians to discover.
And to celebrate the frightful festivities, three familiar faces from the Haunted Woods are also available as limited-edition bonus Essences!
Styling Studio
Keep an eye out for Halloween Plushie, Burlap, and Ghost Pet Styles (accompanied by some of the undead…) rotating into the Styling Studio later this month, along with some paranormal Prismatics!
NEW Switch Mini-Game!
A new challenge has arrived in The Neopian Arcade Odyssey! Update your game to take on the Shenkuu Warrior Game and put your skills to the test in this latest addition to the collection.
Haven’t joined the fun yet? Download the Mega Mini Games Collection to play your favorite nostalgic flash minigames on your PS5, Switch, or Steam. You can even connect your account to NeoPass to earn Neopoints.
Neopets x Makeship
We’ve teamed up with our friends over at Makeship to release two more NPC Neopet character plushies! Neopia’s most iconic villains, Dr. Sloth and The Darkest Faerie return in new intimidatingly cuddly forms. Pre-orders are open through October 22nd, so get to scheming!
Each limited-edition Makeship plushie includes a Rare Item Code for you to redeem at Grundo’s Warehouse!
Tales of Dacardia
Spooks, sweets, and scary stories have come to Dacardia! Go trick-or-treating with your Dacardian pals, then join Captain Cora Sayri and her friends as she takes you through the Tale of the Zombie Slorg Attack. Complete quests, craft decorations, and play a brand-new minigame in Tales of Dacardia's new Halloween event!
And if that's not scary enough, batten down the hatches, as something else BIG and scary is coming... It's the Monstrous Moach! Crabby Hopbobbin is gearing up for another Donation Dome, and she needs your help to fight off this fearsome foe. She's got a terrifying arsenal of prizes to give away this time... and so does Captain Quickfinger! So make sure to stop by their shops on your trick-or-treating journey.
Finally, there's an all-new book to be collected and read to your pets, available only in Tales of Dacardia: Dacardian Ghoti-Wrangling! With so many treats to look forward to, you may be waiting for the tricks... But we promise, there are none! Unless you count the pranks the Crabby-bots are playing on each other... but don't worry, they're nothing to be scared of.
Faerie Fragments
Tia's Seasonal Exchange is back in Faerie Fragments and runs through October 21 — and this one is a birthday party. Faerie Fragments turns two, and everyone has set up a tea party in the garden to celebrate. Play Match 3 levels to earn Bronze Coins, then trade them in at the Event Shop for anniversary rewards and tea party treasures.
Log in on Saturday 17 October, the anniversary itself, for in-game items and Neopets.com rewards. There's also a birthday hat, a 2nd Anniversary avatar frame, and a special weekly login Stamp Card running the length of the event.
Take note that the Event Shop closes at 19:00 PDT on October 21, the same day the event ends, with limited weekly restocks while it's live. Link your Faerie Fragments account to NeoPass to claim Neopets.com rewards.
